When do I get paid?+
Commissions enter a 30 day pending period the moment your referral's first paid invoice clears. After the hold, approved commissions pay out weekly every Friday via PayPal or Wise. Minimum payout threshold is $100 CAD. Balances below roll forward.
Why a 30 day hold?+
We pay you only after we're confident we keep the revenue. The hold protects against refunds, chargebacks, and early cancellations so we both win when a referral sticks.
Can I promote however I want?+
Yes: social, email to your network, your blog, paid social, YouTube, communities where it's relevant. With three exceptions (full list in T&Cs): no paid search bidding on "Metrili" keywords, no spam email, no impersonating Metrili staff.
Is the commission recurring?+
No. Commissions are one time per customer, based on the plan they initially signed up for. But you can refer unlimited customers.
What if my referral upgrades later?+
Commission is locked to the plan they initially chose. No extra commission for upgrades, downgrades, or plan changes.
Where can I be located?+
Anywhere, as long as you can receive payouts via PayPal or Wise.
How long does the referral cookie last?+
60 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 60 days (last click attribution), you get credit, even if they browse other sites first.
Are trials counted?+
No. Commission triggers on conversion to a paid subscription only, not on the 7 day free trial.
Do I need to register a business?+
No. You can receive payouts as an individual. You're responsible for declaring commission income and paying any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
